Manufacturing process at Ballistic Advantage begins with the highest quality 416R stainless steel . In preparation for the button rifled process, barstock is cut to length then drilled, reamed, and rifled. Using custom designed blanking tools, every production barrel from BA carries match-grade tolerancing with bore uniformity of .0003” or better. It’s normal to see barrels coming off the line at less than .00015” variation through the entire blank. Barrels receive QPQ finish with Nickel Boron Coated Extended M4 Feed Ramp Extension.
Our assembly process strictly adheres to Mil-Spec torque standards, conducts thorough headspace checks, ensures the truing of upper receivers, and beds the barrels to guarantee optimal accuracy and performance. Furthermore, all our weapons undergo meticulous gas system adjustment and comprehensive test firing before shipment, ensuring their reliability and performance.
