The AR lower receiver is the part of the AR rifle that houses the trigger group, magazine well, and the lower parts kit.  It is also the part that is customized the most. It can be modified with a variety of accessories and upgrades, such as ambidextrous controls, pistol grips, and collapsible stocks.
