Like all Aero Precision receivers, this product adheres to mil-spec dimensions and seamlessly accommodates standard AR 308 components.
Aero Precision M5 Stripped Lower Receivers are engineered for compatibility with standard DPMS 308 components and magazines. The inclusion of an upper tension screw empowers users to finely adjust the fit between the upper and lower receiver. This is achieved by utilizing a nylon-tipped tension set screw inserted into the grip tang of the lower receiver. Furthermore, the rear takedown pin detent hole is threaded for a 4-40 set screw. Additionally, the M5 stripped lower features a bolt catch that is threaded for a screw pin, eliminating the need for a roll pin, and boasts an integrated trigger guard.
The selector markings are designed to work seamlessly with 45, 60, or 90-degree safety selectors. These lowers readily accept short-throw safety selectors but remain compatible with any standard selector. Lastly, they maintain a gap-free interface with aftermarket pistol grips.
